Too Darn Hot (GB) x Whitefields '22 Colt

TBB Racing & Shane Nichols

Mornington VIC, Australia

Colt

Horse Description

The saying goes, 'fish where the fish are'. A Too Darn Hot from Segenhoe Stud, we've been here before. TBB Racing heads a syndicate that races two-year-old filly Climate Change with Shane Nichols, a debut winner. She has since ran fourth in a juvenile Stakes race.

We have been offered another horse to Lease from Segenhoe Stud. There is only 20% remaining in our Too Darn Hot x Whitefields colt.

He will be trained by Shane Nichols, who we combined with to give Too Darn Hot his first Southern Hemisphere winner. This colt will be the fourth Too Darn Hot in his Mornington stable, and we are involved in three of them.

Too Darn Hot was a Champion Racehorse and has had a brilliant start to stud both sides of the equator. He has already sired a Group 1 winner on both sides of the equator in his first crops. Broadsiding joined Fallen Angel with a win in the Champagne Stakes. He now has 12 Stakes horses.

This colt looks sharp and will be tried early. He is next in line to head to the breakers and we will give him every chance to be at the races pre-Christmas, just as Climate Change did.

It's a very strong female family with a lot of black-type through the page.

Interestingly, this colt is closely related to Magic Millions yo Classic Runner and Group 3-placed filly Arabian Summer. She is also by Too Darn Hot.

There is a small fee to 'buy into the lease', which covers all sales, transport, and costs to date.

It is an exciting opportunity to race a very well-bred colt at a fraction of the cost.
