Mare

Horse Description

With the recent win of Brooklyn Dash, we set out to find another lightly raced mare with plenty of upside to offer our owners.

I was fortunate to secure Hidden Mogul through a recent Inglis Digital Sale and she fitted our criteria perfectly. We bought her for half of what we were prepared to pay. At just $7,500, she is excellent value and gives you a great chance to make a return on that initial investment.

She is by Champion Sire Written Tycoon, who has produced 15 Group 1 winners, including the latest Golden Slipper winner, Lady Of Camelot. She recently resumed with a third placing in the Group 1 Moir Stakes and looks set to feature prominently through the Spring.

Hidden Mogul is out of the nine-time winner, Kryptelon. She was a Listed winner and has produced a Stakes horse already in Fling. A city winner in Melbourne, Fling also placed in a Group 2 VRC Sires’ Produce.

Originally a $230,000 Yearling at the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast, Hidden Mogul certainly hasn’t lost her looks. I went to Rosehill to inspect her myself, and she is sound, well put together, and has plenty of racing left in her. She was being sold as the previous owners were only interested in Stakes horses.

She showed promise early with a second on debut at Newcastle, despite being four wide for the whole trip. She ran third two starts back at Nowra behind a promising Yulong-owned horse, Pocketing.

Hidden Mogul has a similar profile to our latest winner, Brooklyn Dash, who was also a Maiden trained by Annabel Neasham, before scoring at Newcastle at her second start for our stable.

She will head to the paddock for six weeks, and will start a new preparation on Monday October 28th.

We are offering Hidden Mogul at cost, with no added commissions or fees. What we pay, you pay.

5% opportunities start from just $525.
