We've landed the best Anders I have seen all year at Karaka, and we secured him for a steal at $100,000. He was purchased from Pencarrow Stud in Cambridge. He is an absolute weapon of a colt.
He will be an early-going colt, and we will give him every opportunity to be at the races as an early two-year-old. Anders won twice as a two-year-old before winning the Listed Rosebud and Group 3 San Domenico Stakes at three.
This colt is out of a Lonhro mare who crosses really well with Not A Single Doubt, the sire of Anders. The cross has produced 13 winners of 33 races from 15 runners. That's 86% winners/runners.
It is also the family of International star Dubai Honour, who won two Group 1's in Australia last Autumn. He is a two-time Group 2 winner in France and ran second in the Group 1 Ascot Champion Stakes in England.
