Horse Description
We had to wait for late in the day for this filly, but we were prepared to do so. I loved this King's Legacy x Marechal filly from the moment I saw her during our first inspections. She was an absolute queen, purchased for $200,000.
She is from the first crop of Redoute's Choice's only dual Group 1-winning two-year-old. He's had an excellent chance to succeed at Stud. His first book of mares was full of quality, and it has resulted in some lovely yearlings. I had several lots by the stallion on my shortlist, and this filly was at the top.
She is from a really progressive mare. Marechal is developing into a top-line producer with Listed-winning, Group 3-placed Cyber Attack and Group horse On The Lead. She has had four foals to race, all winners! I fully expect this filly to add to the tally.
It is also the family of three-time Group 1 winner Humidor, who ran Winx as close as anyone in the WS Cox Plate.
